HSBC Place is located at 10250 101 St NW, Edmonton, Alberta.
HSBC is in the midst of a fulsome revitalization that will modernize the building’s original 1980 design to better meet Edmonton’s demanding office space environment.
The original building no longer met the expectations of today’s office tenants.

In 2018, an intense interior and exterior revitalization commenced and today, HSBC Place is in essence a new class “A” office tower in the heart of downtown Edmonton.
The building is approximately 60% leased and tenants will start to moving in to HSBC Place in October 2019. Construction is expected to be fully completed by March 2020.
The building is certified LEED® Gold® Core and Shell, WELL Gold and Wired Platinum – the first in Edmonton!
The new HSBC Place was designed by Dialog Design, renovations were completed by Edmonton’s PCL Construction Management and the revitalization work was managed by Epic Investment Services.
How does a building increase occupant comfort? HSBC Place features several ways including:

curtain wall system to reduce solar gain during the summer and heat loss during the winter while reducing exterior noise transmission.

Floor to ceiling (9’) vision glass in the office area

Occupancy and CO2 sensors to maintain optimum ventilation rates & reduces energy consumption
